I really like this printer. It was simple to set up and begin using it. I connected two laptops and a desktop to in in under an hour. The software is very user friendly. You don’t have to creating a printing network. Any computer you use can be linked to this printer. No pre-existing network required.
It will search for your router and set itself up. The range on this wi-fi is awesome. I have sent printing and scanning jobs from 40 feet and 3 rooms away.
The screen on the top lets me choose which machine on the network I want to send scan images to and how I would like them published.
I would like if the command buttons and screen that I could tilt. I have to keep mine on top of a 4 drawer file cabinet to prevent toddler mischief. I can operate it from the Lexmark Productivity Studio, but sometimes I just need one copy and I have to stand on my tiptoes to seen buttons and screen. That said, the Lexmark Productivity Studio is very useful. It puts all the tools I need for image management are right in front of me.
